July 26 - Lake Champlain, VT - day

We got an early start, and went to explore the pedestrian only "Church Street marketplace".  Lots of interesting retail shops.  We had lunch at a plant-based restaurant - sort-of tasty.  Then we went back down to the waterfront and took an 1 and 1/2 hour cruise, around a portion of the lake and the islands.  Beautiful day, very easy nice boat cruise.

We each went our separate ways for dinner, but after dinner, Tamara's family came over to our campsite for a campfire and S'mores.  It took us awhile to get the campfire going, as we bought firewood, but there was no kindling or old newspapers.  We did have some purchased fire starter things, and ultimately got it going well.  Long enough to roast marshmallows, make S'mores, and hang out before the rain started.  Nice evening.

Probably not politically correct, but apt.
