I forget how much more work it is to prepare for a 3 month RV trip than for a 1 week vacation RV trip. Lots more clothes to first wash, then sort between the warm weather and cold weather clothes. We packed the October clothes in a bin and stored it on the back outdoor luggage rack. Lots more food to figure out. I am not just warming up pre-frozen dinners, but will have to cook them. But my refrigerator and cupboard storage is MUCH smaller than my home kitchen. And, I had to clean out completely the home refrigerator. Then there's the list of "stuff" that we needed to be sure to take--the little coffee pot, the small pasta pot, the toiletries, the computer paraphernalia, chargers, the laundry soap, the RV user manual, the "2021 Utah trip" binder, the checkbook and banking stuff, etc.
We turned the refrigerator on early, so it could cool, then loaded up all the food on Sunday. Same with the clothes, after doing the laundry in the morning. So, by Monday morning, all we needed to do was pack up a few items and we would be ready to go.
