Shanti drove his VW van over to the State Park, and Gabe joined us a little later. It was really neat to see Robbie & Ann's old VW van parked next to their newer Mercedes Sprinter van. Ann just had to jump in to it and drive it around the camp loop a couple of times, for old times sake.
We all then went for a really nice hike on one of the park's hiking trails, following the river that was dammed up to make the Chatfield Lake. After the hike, I was going to make chili for dinner, for everyone, but it started to rain, so Shanti went home, and Gabe hung out for a bit, while I cooked chili for Robbie, Ann, Peter and myself. By dinner time, it had stopped raining, and we were able to eat outside. The four of us then squished into the RV and watched a movie on our "big screen TV".
Really nice day.
