Sept 16 - Arches National Park

We decided to go back over to Arches National Park and walk the Windows section of trails.  So we did the early morning walk thing again.  We started at the North and South Windows, then a little side jaunt to the Turret Arch.  About a mile round trip,  Back to the parking lot and on the other side we went to the Double Arch, only 1/2 mile this time.  But each of these arches were really neat.  Each one different.  It amazes me the variety that Mother Nature can produce--given eons to do it in.  I am getting much better at climbing up onto these steep rocks to get closer to the arches.  Peter stays at the bottom (so he can take a photo of me!)  Each time we come to the park, the drive through still amazes me.

Since it was a bit cooler today, we ended up staying at the RV for the afternoon, as the AC kept it comfortable inside.  So, I did the laundry, and cooked up a big pot of my sloppy joes, knowing that we would be having dinner tomorrow with Shanti at the Dead Horse Point State Park.
