Sept 1 - on to Chatfield State Park, Littleton, Colorado (yeh!)

It was a fairly long ride to Colorado, and we arrived mid-afternoon, shortly after Robbie and Ann arrived.  Our campsites in the Chatfield State Park, in Littleton, CO are wonderful.  Just perfect.  The sites are large, pull-thru, and full hook up.  The orientation of each site is that the RV sits parallel to the view.  It has a large picnic table, and nice gravel area, and the RV site is paved, with no need to level.  The view overlooks the Chatfield Lake and the foothills of the Rocky Mountains behind it.  Perfect.

After setting up our RV and Robbie and Ann's Sprinter van, we went for a quick walk along the 4 mile paved pathway that goes around the entire lake.  Some parts are up on the ridge, and others down by the water.  Our section overlooks the lake from the ridge.

Shanti, Aimee, Shilah and Serena, along with their two dogs, joined us for dinner.  Aimee brought delicious food.  And we sat outside and enjoyed each other's company.  Robbie served cocktails!  It is such a delight to see everyone, in person, again after 1 & 1/2 Covid years.
