Since we have an issue with the water intake valve leaking water into the fresh water tank, and overflowing the tank, we had called Tiffin the other day to see what they recommended. They said to install a new valve, and that any RV repair shop could do it in 30 minutes. They gave us the name of a repair shop, and we had made an appointment for today.
When we got to the shop, after looking at our issue, they said the Tiffin tech person steered us wrong. The valve is very specific to our Tiffin system, and that they would need to special order it, and they didn't even know where to find it. So, after unhooking the RV and driving into Medford, we had to drive back to the campground, and reset up camp. A sort of wasted day.
Tomorrow we need to call Tiffin, again, and see if they can ship us a part, to an RV repair shop in California. Oh well, at least our problem doesn't affect driving the RV. We just need to be watchful of the gauge on the fresh water tank, and turn off the water from the camp hookup.
At least it was a rainy day, so we didn't miss out on our sightseeing.
