Oct 14 -- Half day off, Shady Cove, Oregon and Rogue River Gorge and Natural Bridge

It was a beautiful sunny day, but since I wasn't sure if I was fully recovered, and since we are in such a nice spot, we decided to take the day off.  But, then again, by lunch time I was feeling pretty good, and the sky was clear blue, it was sunny and 64 degrees, so we decided to go for a short exploration jaunt of the area.
We headed north, on the Rogue/Siskiyot Scenic byway, to the Rogue River Gorge and Natural Bridge.  The Gorge was a deep chasm, carved out of basalt rock, with lots of water from the Rogue River, flowing down from Crater Lake.  They had a very nice short walkway, with 4 different viewpoints, along the Gorge.
Then we drove the 3 miles over to the Natural Bridge.  This is the same Rogue River, but further downstream.  There is a nice bridge over the rushing river, and a nice trail with several viewpoints.  The natural bridge is formed by an old lava tunnel, that the water runs through, underground.  Some folks we met there said that the water was so low, you could actually see the top of the lava tunnel.  Usually, the water is so high, you can't see it.
We stopped at a few more spots, but none warranted more than a cursory look.
We returned to the RV to find that our fresh water tank, that should have NO water flowing into it, had overflowed, again.  We turned off the water from the campground, and are now just using the water from the fresh water tank, until we find out the problem.  We think it must be a faulty valve.  Oh well, the joys of the RV life.
