Sept 3 - on to La Conner, WA

  La Conner, Washington is just a little further south, still on Puget Sound.  There are islands all up and down the Sound.  Our La Conner RV campground is right on the Sound, and we can see various islands from the beach. 
  We have set up camp in a site in the woods.  Short walk to the community center and beach area.  After setting up, I walked over to the beach.  As it was low tide, I could walk over to the Lone Pine Point, which later, at sunset, was now a small island.  I sat up on a little hill on the Point, and enjoyed the beautiful day, the beautiful view, and just relaxed. 
  I made dinner, and we went back over to the beach to watch the sunset.  Striking.
