Sept 16 - Ocean City, Washington

We started the day by calling Peter's primary care physician, who agreed that is appears that Peter does have Lyme's Disease, and that the antibiotic treatment prescribed by the ER Doc was the correct treatment.  So, back into Aberdeen, to the Walmart, to pick up his antibiotics.  Back to the RV, so he could rest up.  Note:  Lyme disease symptoms -- periodic, cyclical fever and lethargy lasting for days, with no cough or congestion, mental fuzziness, and rash-on different parts of the body, coming and going.  The rash is not always a bulls-eye; Peter's wasn't.
I had left the kitchen vent open all night, unknowingly, and it poured, so the floor and rugs got all wet.  I took that opportunity to throw the rugs into the wash--good way to get them dry.  I then took a walk back down to the beach.  The sun was shining, and the temperature was mild, with a light breeze blowing.  I had to be outside, and with the ocean 10 minutes walk away, I couldn't stay at the RV.
Today, the ocean was even more turbulent than yesterday.  The waves were breaking further out, and tumbling into shore, continuously.  What a delight.  And I realize that this view of the coast, up and down the beach, is only a fraction of the long Washington coastline.  And this coastline is all beach, not rocky like Maine, or with Big rocks jutting up, like Ruby Beach, nor with huge cliffs.  This beach is all flat beach, as far as the eye can see.

A few more Ocean City beach photos:
