Day 7 - traveling through North and South Carolina to Yemassee, South Carolina

Today was mostly travelling to our site in Yemassee, South Carolina.  We will be staying here for 2 weeks.  It is close to Charleston, Hilton Head, Beauford and Paris Island, Edesta island - all of which is loaded with history - civil war and slavery.  As Peter says "there's a lot of really neat things to see".
Our challenge for the day was setting up for the first time with water and sewer at our site.  We needed to dewinterize the RV, which meant flushing out all of the anti-freeze put in the pipes for the winter.  We had some problems getting some of the screwed-on things to turn.  But we had some help from a few neighboring RVers.  Of course not all RVs are set up the same, so the first helper had us hook up the water hose to the flush inlet, instead of the city water inlet.  Oh well, we learned when the water didn't turn on.  Our first night with our own bathroom!
