Day 15 - Jan 23 - Peter's Birthday = Mighty 8th Air Force Museum

Happy Birthday Peter !  To celebrate, he chose to go to the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum outside of Savannah, GA.   I put some photos below.  These were the airman who helped England defeat Nazi Germany.  Well done museum.
  Then, since I have such a problem with military "stuff", we stopped on the way home at the Savannah National Wildlife Preserve.  Unfortunately, the Visitor Center was closed, due to the shutdown, but we did go on a 4 mile self-guided audio drive tour through the preserve.  Lots of birds, very well done.   
  Finally, when we got back to our RV campground, we finally walked around the "lake" ( I call it a pond), since it was a nice, warm day.
