April 2 - on to Lenoir, NC

We got an early start this morning, and had a fairly easy drive, through the Smokey Mountain passes, on to North Carolina.  Beautiful scenery.  It is spring here, so there were a lot of purple flowering trees all along the roadside, and even forsythia.
We are now on our way back to MA, using all Thousand Trails campgrounds, as they are free, with our membership that came with the Tiffin purchase.  However, we can only stay a maximum of 4 nights, if we want to then move onto the next Thousand Trails campground. We are actually only here two nights.  We are just 20 miles away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, which we will go see tomorrow.  This is the nicest Thousand Trails campground we have been to thus far.  A bit more like State Parks in the layout.  But it has almost 300 sites.  They are in several loops, some around lakes or ponds, some along a stream, and each one higher up on somewhat steep roadways.  Our site is low, and is beside a stream.
Just hung out after we arrived.  Made dinner, blogged, and rested.
