Apr 5 - rainy day in Advance, NC

It rained all day, so we had a "home" day.  I did the laundry in the Club house, while catching up on the RV blog.  Then, caught up on life's little items.  Decided to go into Winston-Salem for dinner, and to go to the nearest Home Depot, to get the "fix" for our bed metal flange issue.
Turns out, two fatter, longer screws did the trick.  For a total cost of $1.18, including two extra screws!  I like those kinds of fixes.  Of course, when we got back to the RV, we had the challenge of putting the screws in (not too hard), but then we had to put the flange back on the screwed in bracket.  Of course, there was a special kind of nut, on the bolt, that made it REALLY hard to screw on.  You had to put a wrench on the inside nut to keep it from turning, and the pliers on the outside screw, to get it to screw in.  Of course, four hands were required to do the job, in a really small space!  This is what happens when two non-mechanical folks own an RV!
