We started buttoning up the RV, getting ready to head out, when the bed wouldn't retract-AGAIN! I tried all of the tricks the techs told us about, and nothing worked. So, we called Tiffin again, and they walked us through all of the tricks again, and nothing worked. So, we ended up calling some local RV repair techs--there were 3 in the area. Only one was able to come late this afternoon, the others wouldn't have been able to come until Wednesday.
Of course, when the tech got there, the bed started working, so he couldn't see the problem. Same as when it was at Tiffin. However, fortunately, he ran it in and out several times, when it stopped working again--YEH! Finally, a tech was there to discover the actual issue. He finally decided it was a short in one of the wires to one of the motors, and he replaced the entire cable. SO, hopefully, he actually repaired the problem, so going forward, it will work flawlessly.
We ended up staying another night, since it was so late. Fortunately, that was not a problem with the campground. Cooked dinner, and worked on Anica's tax returns.
