The big news is that Claire finished her PhD dissertation and defended it before the panel, and passed. She is now an official PhD in geology! Congratulations Claire. We got to watch the defense, as it was through Zoom. Many family and friends tuned in too. After many years of hard work and determination, she deserves it.
We also celebrated Savannah's 4th birthday at the condo. We had a cake and everything (except a passel of other 4 year old friends). This was a Covid year birthday. But, we had fun.
Other fun things: Peter finally shaved his beard. Due to Covid, it grew longer than ever before. Usually his barber trimmed it, but this time it was barber Evie. And, barber Claire trimmed Cheyenne's very long hair. Also, we finished the first 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle that Claire and Ian set up for us. Definitely fills in the time at home.
