It has been overcast and sprinkling, and cool, all day today, so we have "stayed home". We took two walks around the Palm Springs RV resort (even though we are really in Palm Desert). I finally caught up with my travel blog, after not doing any while at Robbie's. Peter is catching up with his blogs also.
It is really nice looking around our campgrounds and seeing mountain ranges on all sides, with Mt San Jacinto and Mt Gorgonio being the tallest mountains. The San Andreas fault runs through the valley. The whole area is where snow-birds from all over descend for the winter. The resort is still like an RV parking lot, but really clean. The sites are quite close together. Since we are travelling, and not staying in any one place for long, it works for us. But many folks are here for the winter, and I don't think I would like this setup for that long.
