Another severe weather storm was forecasted for last night. It indeed did pour down rain, all night, but without the intense wind and torrential downpours. So we felt quite safe and secure.
It drizzled rain early morning, but we decided to go into our "mobile office". When we got there, we realized that we had left our camp chairs in the RV, from our trip up to Tiffin. So, we sat in the car and did our work.
I finally was able to figure out our return trip itinerary. Some of the RV camps are closed, due to the State's mandates. Some are due to reopen in May, but that could change. I was able to call and make reservations to all of the places. Hopefully, they won't be cancelled. As of now, we are due to arrive home on May 16th. The sun came out, and it got quite humid. Ate our picnic lunch, then returned to Lake Lurleen.
We needed to fill up our bottled water jugs, as we don't drink the water from our fresh water tank. When available, we refill our jugs from Whole Foods with reverse osmosis purified water. However, that is not available here. So, we undid the water filter on our fresh water intake, and put it on the water faucet across the road, since it was up high, and our faucet was right at ground level. Then, we filled our jugs, and refitted the filter back on our faucet. The things we do that are now "normal" for RV living.
One advantage to spending an entire month in one place is that we can receive mail. Aaron's Mom, Ann, made us some masks to wear. We got them in the mail today, She has a sewing machine, and I only had one needle and one spool of thread. Her masks look and work much better than my homemade ones. Thanks Ann!
We took an afternoon walk down to the lake and the fishing pier. It was cloudy and humid, but nice to be able to sit on a picnic table and look out over the water, and just enjoy the fresh air and energy of the lake area.
Back at the RV, I needed to update our joint checking account bookkeeping. Then dinner. Then we finished watching the Men In Black-1 DVD, and watched the Men In Black-2 DVD. So much fun,
