May 30 - June 7, hanging out, & getting RV ready to travel

Not a lot has happened this week, except for finding out that Gabe was diagnosed with MS, diabetes, and high blood pressure.  He was in the hospital for 5 days, getting an IV infusion to deal with the MS flare-up.  What unexpected news.  He couldn't walk as his leg was not responding and he couldn't use his right arm/hand, and he had cognitive issues.  After the hospital, he went home, and Andrea was AMAZING.  She took care of him, got the house set up with all of the equipment he needed, arranged for all of the doctors and physical therapists appointments, and completely changed their diet and did all of the cooking!!  Plus set up a FB group page to share about the medical issues and Gabe's recovery.  Fortunately, Gabe is on the road to recovery, although they don't know exactly how long that will take, or what the future will look like yet.

On May 30th, we had a nice visit at Anica & Aaron's house.  YES, we actually visited them at their house, indoors, with NO MASKS.  It felt almost normal.

Other big news, for me, at least.  I got my hair cut short again.  Since we are now starting to travel in the RV a bit again, I didn't want to have to use my hair dryer.  And even though I generally like long hair better, short hair is definitely easier to manage.  I now just brush it out after it is washed, and voila!

Finally, on Friday, June 4th, we picked up the RV from where it is stored at Tamara's, and brought it to the condo so we can get it ready for our trip to Virginia.  After so long in storage, where we had removed most everything, we needed to put it all back in again.  I have lists of items we needed to put back, lists of food we needed to put in, lists of where we need to go.  What fun.
