Nov 7, 2022 - Colorado trip

Gabe, Amy, Peter & I started the day with a hike on the Morrison Trail.  Everyone else had to work or had school.  We had hoped to start the hike at the top of the mountains, but that entrance was closed, so we went to the trailhead at the base of the mountains.  Which meant that we needed to walk uphill, most of the way.  We did go up, quite a ways, but not to the top.  The views were really neat, anyways.  You could see downtown Denver in the distance.

We then went the short distance over to the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre.  What an impressive venue.  Nice walkways, nice views, neat rock formations and a great Amphitheatre.

Finally, we met up with the rest of the folks (except for Shilah) for dinner.  A great end to our Colorado family visit.
