Life has settled into non-RV travel mode. But we are still needing to get out and about, so do some close by day trips on nice winter days. A quick summary with short comments:
Jan 7 - LOTS of snow.
Jan 14 - stopped by the nearby cemetery in Oxford, MA, where Clara Barton, organizer of the Red Cross, is buried.
Jan 16 - Stopped by the Quaboag Pond on the way into Amherst. Saw Ice Sailing on pontoons for the first time. It looked really neat, zooming across the ice.
Jan 22 - Due to Covid, we had to cancel our trip out to California for our winter sibling/cousin gathering. Sigh. We did, however, go to Claire and Ian's house to celebrate Claire's birthday (Jan 24th) and play board games. Much fun had by all.
Jan 23 - Peter's birthday. No photos, but nice day.
Jan 24 - Finished another baby blanket for the UMASS NICU premie baby unit.
Jan 26 - We went to the Van Gogh, The Immersive Experience exhibit. Very interesting and very well done. They projected some of his paintings onto huge walls surrounding you in a huge hall, then they made them move.
