July 4 - Hamlin State Park, Hamlin, NY

  It was a beautiful, sunny, breezy day here at Hamlin State Park.  We spent the day relaxing.  We went for a 3 mile hike this morning, along the Park's Nature trail.  It led to a really neat boardwalk into a marsh bordering on Lake Ontario.  There were tall marsh grasses waving in the wind, lots of birds, and that lake breeze.  Very nice.
  In the afternoon, I went over to the lake, and Peter hung out at our campsite.  I spent some time at the beach--they have several lagoon-type beaches, then went over to the rock-lined area--and just enjoyed the day.
  This evening, we went back over to the lake, and watched the sunset.
  No 4th of July activities in the Park--they had theirs last weekend.  So, sort of quiet.
