Apr 29 - day off at Lynchburg Campground, Gladys, VA

It was sort of a cool, overcast day, so we decided to take the day off.  I spent the day trying to figure out our trip from the Grand Tetons, in Wyoming, to Glacier National Park in Montana.  And, how many stops to make on the way, and where to stay.  Our Thousand Trails membership will have expired, and they do not have any campgrounds in that part of the country.  So, Good Sam's club campgrounds, and State Park campgrounds.
Then, we spent awhile on the phone with a Thousand Trails broker, who helps sell current memberships on the resale market, for about half the price.  She was VERY knowledgeable and helpful.  Most of the sites are in the northwest, west, and southwest, so it will probably make sense for us to purchase a membership.  We'll see.
We hiked around the campground nature trails after lunch.  Cooked a nice dinner (with a meal for later in the week, and a meal to freeze).  Just hung out for the evening.
