We hiked around the campgrounds and along the long waterfront. Since it had rained last night and was cloudy all morning, when the sun came out this afternoon, I couldn't help but take my chair, water bottle and Kindle out to the promontory on the water's edge and just sit and enjoy the day.
I came back and cooked dinner--to last 3 nights, and then we went out to the lake to watch the sunset. It was just beautiful--amazing colors, both in the sky and on the water. I took a lot of photos, but they just don't really capture the grandeur of the actual experience.
This evening, we started plotting our summer journey westward. We need to figure out how many stays at campgrounds we need on each step of the trip. I realize to eliminate stress, I need to know ahead of time, where we will be staying. Whereas, the RV neighbors we just met from Ann Arbor, just like to plan their next stop the night before they leave--to eliminate their stress. Different strokes for different folks, and all.
