November 7,2018-RV challenge 1

So today was the perfect planned day-pick up the RV at Tamara's in South Deerfield by 9am, drop it off at the RV dealer near Sturbridge to be winterized by 11am, home for a quick lunch, then drop my car off at the auto body shop for some repairs in Auburn, pick up the rental car, and finish up the day volunteering at the U Mass Memorial NICU cuddling babies.
Fully planned day.

However, when we got to Tamara's the RV was dead as a doornail.  Even the keys wouldn't work.  Oh well, no ,problem, we purchased RV road side assistance for just this situation--call anytime, anywhere, and they would have someone to help within 60 minutes.  Usually, we would just call upon our very capable son-in-law Mike to jump start it, but he is now a 7to3 working man, so he wasn't available.  So we call at 9:25am, and they say someone would come within the hour.
Four return calls to them and 5hours later, still no assistance.  Turns out they called Boston to jump start us half-way across the State.  Finally, on the 4th call, I asked them, again, to find someone locally.  A very nice fellow finally came and jump started it.  Needless to say, we are cancelling that assistance plan and joining Good Sam's Club plan.
Thanks goodness Tamara and Savannah were home, and it was a gorgeous day, so we got to spend some delightful time together.
However, I had to reschedule the car apt at the autobody shop, and missed my Cuddling session.
LESSONS LEARNED:
1)  Assume all RV plans will take twice as long as you figure they should, and
2) Breath deeply.  Go with the flow.  Let it all just slide off me.  I am now Retired!  I don't have a time schedule.  Let it go, and enjoy the journey.
